After learning about structures in science, the grade 7 class was issued a challenge.
They were challenged to build a chair out of cardboard that would support them for at least one 40 minute period.
They spent 3 afternoons designing and building chairs either on their own or with a partner. They were supplied with the cardboard, popsicle sticks, paper, tape and yarn to create their chair.
On Tuesday they tested their chairs in class. They not only worked hard to create their chair but at the end of the day they all stayed in one piece! Amazing work grade 7s!
